Joining PASTCF
Nearly the entire annual budget of PASTCF is derived from member dues (Student, Regular, Spouse, Contributing, and Sustaining). Because our work is so important, all members and clergy of the Presbyterian Church (USA) are invited to join this effort to help our church take better account of developments in science and technology.
You may join by downloading and mailing the membership brochure on the Resources page. There are special rates for spouses of PASTCF members and institutional memberships.
Membership Levels
Student ($10 per year)
Regular ($40 per year)
Contributing ($100 per year)
Sustaining ($250 per year)
Spouse of Member ($15 per year) [share single copy of SciTech† and informational mailings]
Persons who are not members of the Presbyterian Church are eligible for Affiliate Membership and will be afforded all the rights and privileges of the Association save the right to vote.
Donations:
Members and friends may also contribute beyond their annual dues. A variety of donation levels are recognized and each is vitally important. In addition to Contributing and Sustaining memberships,
- Some members make special gifts to support PASTCF's presence at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
- Some individuals and institutions have become "Sponsors of SciTech†." They underwrite the cost of producing our quarterly journal one or more times ($600 per issue).
- Some donors contribute to the PASTCF Endowment Fund or the George and Joanne Neal Fund, recently established in memory of the Neals to advance the formation of local chapters of PASTCF.
- Other donations in any amount can be received to augment the annual budget or support PASTCF's expanding efforts.
- PASTCF is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and donations to PASTCF are tax deductible. Contact the Secretary/Treasurer for more details.
